WTF

Warning: This post might offend some of you, most likely not, but you have been warned!

Now that I am no longer a part of the Williams family I need to let off some steam. My ex-mother in-law, Marilyn, has some issues that I hope she gets over some day. Marilyn was unable to have children of her own so they adopted Grant (my ex-husband) and 3 years later they adopted Michelle. Almost any women you talk to will say that they want a little girl when they first get pregnant. There is something about women and wanting to dress up a cute little girl in pink and ribbons. Marilyn is a girly girl and she ended up adopting a girl that is far from being girly. Michelle doesn't wear makeup or do her hair. She doesn't like to go shopping or do her hair and nails. Michelle is what I like to call "Miss Granola". Not only is Michelle a Plain Jane but she is very independent. Marilyn is the type of woman that is always up in your business and wanting to do anything to help. Put these two personalities together and you get trouble. Marilyn has tried her entire motherhood life to BUY Michelle's love. While trying to buy her daughters affection, she forgot that she had a son. Grant's father, Ken, was always traveling on business so Grant never really got any real love from his parents. Ken was gone, Marilyn was off giving Michelle everything and Grant was alone. Grant had confided in me while we were married that he always felt that his mother loved his sister more. When Grant and I started dating we used to eat every Sunday dinner at his parents. Michelle was going to BYU and she would have an occasional Sunday dinner with us. Every dinner consisted of Marilyn and Nana (Grant's horrible grandmother) bragging about how wonderful Michelle was. "Michelle is so beautiful", "Michelle is so smart", Michelle this, Michelle that...blah blah blah......
I was even forced to watch a family video that Grant wasn't even in. WTF??? Did they think I was dating their daughter or their son?? I became very pissed with the 3 women in Grant's family at a very early stage in our relationship.
Grant's grandfather had been a painter when he was alive and Nana has a whole bunch of his paintings in her basement. Nana let Michelle pick a painting when she got married. Nana didn't even offer us a painting until after we had been married 4 years. Let it be known that Michelle got married only 2 months before we did. Why did it take so long for Nana to offer us a painting? Nana was obsessed with Michelle!! Her house was a shrine to Michelle. When you walked into the house is was covered in pictures of Michelle and her family. Every single room in the house had either a picture of Michelle or a picture of one of her kids. Even the fridge was covered in Michelle pictures. I went to a jewelry party at Nana's back in November and I seriously couldn't find a single picture of Grant or me. The only picture of Grant was a family photo. Nana had pictures of the neighborhood kids on her fridge but she couldn't manage to put a picture up of her grandson?? I decided to be witchy about the situation and I full out complained about it in front of the company. Marilyn felt bad and told me there were some pictures of us in the bedroom. I went in the room and only found one picture of us. A picture that I gave her!!! What a bitch!! One picture of us to the 30 of Michelle. It was ridiculous!! I stormed out of the house making a huge scene. That cunt deserved it!! (Sorry about my language, I just get really worked up about these memories)!
Marilyn spends a fortune on airplane tickets to visit Michelle and her family. She would go for weeks at a time several times a month. Grant and I only got invited for Sunday dinner about once a month. Pretty screwed up if you ask me. Marilyn has a blog that she only ever talks about Michelle and the grand kids. It is freakin ridiculous if you ask me. Her precious son just got a divorce and the only thing she can blog about is how her perfect daughter is living in Utah again. You wouldn't even know that she has a son. Grant is nothing to this woman and I despise her for that. Michelle will never be that dependent girly girl daughter that Marilyn wants so she should start giving more love and attention to her son that is more deserving of her affection. Even though Grant and I are no longer together I still love and care for him. I only want the best for him cause he is a wonderful person. I hope he finds a really great woman to marry and I REALLY hope his mother and grandmother start treating him better.
MICHELLE IS NOT ALL SHE IS CRACKED UP TO BE!
GET A LIFE MARILYN AND START LOVING GRANT MORE!!
NANA....PLEASE JUST DIE ALREADY....YOU LOOK LIKE A WRINKLED AND BRUISED OLD HAG!!!
I could go on for hours about this family and boy do I have several stories to tell but I will leave this post as it is. I think you can get the point though. I have decided that when I marry again, my husband and I will only have one child. That way we only have to give our love to one child and not worry about dividing the love equally!

Here Kitty Kitty

About 2 or 3 weeks ago the guy I'm dating got me a cat! Isn't that sweet? I can't have a cat at my apartment so she lives with him but I go and see her often. He tells me that he got the cat for me but I think he really got her for himself. The previous owner named the cat Kitty and we both agreed to keep it Kitty. The picture above is not our baby but that is what she looks like. I have pictures of her on my camera but I can't get to a computer that my memory stick works in. I hope to post some pictures of our baby soon so that everyone can see her. Anyway....Kitty ran away yesterday. We were both devastated. I came to the apartment to look for her on my lunch break but I had no luck. I came and looked some more when my shift was over and again I had no luck. My boyfriend was sweet and kept the window open just in case she found her way home. My boyfriend texted me this morning around 6:30 to tell me that she hadn't come home yet. At 8:11 this morning he called me exclaiming, "Guess who's back?" He said he woke up to her on the bed licking his toes! We are so excited to have our baby back. My boyfriend confessed to me that he would let Kitty out and explore for a few hours but that she always came back. He agreed that he won't let her out anymore. So I am going to Petmarts to get her a leash and a license with our info on it. I'm spending part of my day off with Kitty. However...she is acting different. She usually sits on my lap and sleeps when I am here with her. She never wants to leave my side and she follows me around the apartment. Now she just does her own thing. I don't even know where she is. Probably in the bedroom. I hope nothing bad happened to her yesterday to cause this personality change. Or maybe she enjoyed the beautiful sunny day yesterday and she wants to go out again! What do you think?

Why, Why, WHY???

Why do men have to be so clueless and oblivious to women's needs? Why do we have to be so blunt with them? Why do I have to get to the point of tears to get my point across? I was married for 4 years and my ex-husband was a pretty good guy for the most part but sometimes I had to cry to get him to do what I needed! The guy I'm dating now is just like all the other men I have been with....clueless and oblivious to my needs. Whenever he needs anything I am always there for him. I drop whatever I am doing to help him out whenever he needs something. Why can't he do the same for me? 90% of the time he makes me completely happy but that other 10% is miserable. I literally have to spell everything out for him before he understands why I'm disappointed with him. Luckily he gets it in the end but I wish I didn't have to be so witchy to him to get what I want. Why are men so weird?

My Easter

I have been super busy with work this week and I haven't had much time to blog. That and I don't have my own computer so I have to use my room-mates when she isn't writing a paper or doing homework of some sort.
I hope everyone had a good Easter Holiday on Sunday!
Mine was pretty good for the most part.
I recently started seeing this guy and I wanted to impress him by cooking dinner. I thought it would be more fun to cook dinner with my room-mate and feed our men. Both our boys agreed to let us cook for them. I was really excited and really nervous at the same time. The guy I'm seeing, who will remain nameless, has never met any of my friends. In fact, I haven't met any of his friends either. We kinda want to keep each other to ourselves for awhile. So I was nervous to actually do something with him where other people would be involved.
My room-mate, Alicia, and I decided we would make Pot Roast and have salad and rolls as our side dishes. We started the roast before church BUT neither one of us knew how to change the temperature on the crock pot and so our roast simmered on LOW for the majority of the day. I was feeling really emotional that morning (stupid female hormones) and ended up going to my "kinda" boyfriends apartment to spend Easter in his arms. That was comforting. You have no idea how much I needed that. I got to see my kitty too! We ended up heading back to my apartment around 7:30 that night and we had a delightful dinner all together. Everyone got along really well and the food ended up tasting just fine.

The Paso and Waltz

I was so excited to watch last nights Dancing With The Stars because they were doing 2 of my favorite dances: Paso Doble and Viennese Waltz. However, I was somewhat disappointed with the dances last night. I didn't like ANY of the Paso Doble's that were performed. The songs that were picked didn't do it for me. If I had to pick a Paso that I liked I would pick Melissa and Tony's Paso Doble. The song they danced to was Poker Face by Lady GaGa which happens to be one of my favorite songs currently but the band performing it was horrible and didn't do the song justice. Tony did some amazing choreography but Melissa made too many mistakes for the dance to be perfect. For such difficult choreography I think she did a great job and that is why I preferred their dance over Gillis and Cheryl's.
Gill and Cheryl performed an almost perfect Paso Doble but the only thing I liked about their Paso was Cheryl's costume. The song and the choreography did not meet my expectations.
Overall I was disappointed with the Paso Doble's that the stars performed last night.

The Viennese Waltz's from last night appealed to me more than the Latin round. Again I was not completely satisfied with the waltz's. My favorite was actually Lil'Kim and Derek.
She is really starting to grow on me. Looking at her in the this picture makes her look scary but she seems to have this really bubbly sweet personality on the show and I hope she does well. She didn't impress me much at the beginning of the competition but she is one of my favorites now. Not only did she perform my favorite waltz last night...but she performed my second favorite Argentine Tango last week.

Shawn and Mark are still my favorite couple but they really need to step it up a bit.

They did a really good but simple waltz last night. Let's just hope they start shining above the others!!

Even though Steve-O and Lacey aren't doing well in the competition....they did a really precious Viennese Waltz last night and I'm proud of him.

The Argentine Tango

I became a huge fan of the Argentine Tango last week on Dancing With The Stars! I've never gotten into the Tango before but the Argentine Tango is awesome. What is the difference? I don't really know except that the dancers were allowed to do lifts with the Argentine Tango. Lifts really add to the dance. I enjoyed all the Tango's that were performed last week except one: Holly Madison who ruined the dance! However, the dance was redeemed when Gillis and Cheryl performed their perfect Argentine Tango which was super HOT!!
I have a Latino friend who offered to teach me the tango. I'm super excited!
Tomorrow the Stars will be performing the Paso Doble

And the Viennese Waltz
These are two of my favorite dances in the whole competition so tomorrow should be a great show. I can't wait. What makes me even happier is the fact that Holly and Steve both got kicked off last week in the double elimination! How exciting is that? It's amazing!! Some of the stars that are still in the competition aren't all that great but they either have a great personality or something about them that makes them enjoyable to watch. So tomorrow shouldn't be too painful for the eyes! I'm excited for this show tomorrow. I will keep everyone posted!
