Feasting With Family

Grant and I went to his parents house for Thanksgiving dinner yesterday. It is always fun to be with family and eat good food. My mother-in-law is a fabulous cook and I had been looking forward for her cooking all week. And to my expectations, the food was delicious!

I'm sad that Lance and Lacey didn't win but at least they made it to the final and finished with 3rd place. Brooke and Derek did well this season and I'm happy for them.

Dancing With The Stars

For those of you that don't know......Dancing With the Stars is my favorite TV show. I watch it every week. I get a piece of paper and make notes and at the end of the show I get my cell, my husbands cell and my 4 abc log-in accounts and vote!

This season I've been giving the majority of my votes to........
Lance and Lacey
I think that Lance has been doing great all season. I'm not a professional ballroom dancer, but I was a darn good ballerina for about 12 years. I have a good eye!! I know what looks good.
The judges on the show haven't been so kind to Lance and Lacey. Lacey is a little rebellious and she doesn't choreograph traditional ballroom dances. However, the dances are still ballroom dances and they are awesome. I feel that the judges are a little biased about Lance's gayness!! I will be the first to admit that Lance is a little pigeon toed but he still is the best in my opinion. Brooke Burke has captured the eyes of the judges but she hasn't captured mine. Brooke is going down and Lance is going home with the Mirror Ball Trophy tonight!!!!
(The results show comes on in 1 hour and I'm eagerly awaiting)
Here are Lance and Lacey doing their Tango which was Freakin Awesome! I don't usually like the Tango but I loved this one!Their West Coast Swig which was cruelly criticized by the judges!

Being Married To Grant

November has been a pretty boring month and not much is happening in my life. So I've been tagged 3 times this month.......don't worry......it gives me something to blog about....here goes..

#1 Where did you meet your husband?

Grant and I met in our Singles Ward. He gave a talk and I thought he was pretty hot. I remember nudging my friend and telling her I would date him!#2 How long did you date before you were married?

1 whole year. Actually we got engaged after 10 months (I think) but we had been dating a whole year before the wedding day!
#3 How long have you been married?

Four years!#4 What does he do that surprises you?

Grant cooks dinner just about every night. It surprises me because he does it willingly and without a fight and he is actually a really decent cook!
#5 What is your favorite feature of his?

Grant has the sexiest nose in the world. Perfectly shaped!!!
#6 What is your favorite quality?

It is hard to pick one. I would have to say his easiness to forgive!!! And his patience!!!

Not really!! He had me pick out a nick name, Pookie, but he never calls me anything but Kristin or Dear (which is so old fashioned).#8 What is his favorite food?

Grant loves all foods for the most part. He loves to eat. If I had to pick I would choose Ribs or Buffalo Wings!!!! He loves messy masculine meals!

SPORT cars!!! Grant is not athletic but if we were rich he would probably love to race a Nissan R34 Skyline GT-R Nur Spec II.

Grant and I kissed on our second date!!! We didn't waste anytime. We were in his friends front yard when we finally let it happen!!

We love to go to the movies!!! We are a freakin Blockbuster!!! We have a wall of movies in our tiny apartment!#12 Do you have any kids?

None that are human!! We have had a ferret and a cat!!

Grant likes just about everything! I don't even know where to begin. Lately he has been listening to DJ Tiesto!

Grant is an amazing guy! I admire everything about him. I love how he takes care of me. He practically waits on me hand and foot. I should learn from him and wait on him every once in awhile!

Grant has 4 passions in life: Me, Sports Cars, Action Movies, and Video Games! All wonderful past times!!#19 Will he read this?
