I Win

So I mentioned previously that I was going to play Mario Kart with my boyfriends son and I wanted to tell everyone about it.

First I want to say a little about his son. Carlos was married several years ago and now he has an 8 year old son, Cameron.

Cameron lives in Oregon with his mom and step dad but he visits Carlos during his summer vacation.

I was really nervous to meet him cause I knew that Carlos would be testing me on how well I got along with his son. Talk about scary. Well we finally met and things were quiet for a bit but we started playing the game and we soon became friends. We spent most of Sunday playing together. He really likes me. Carlos has told me several times when we are alone just how much Cameron likes me. He says stuff like, "I like her daddy, she is really nice," "Is Kristin going to spend the night with us? She can sleep in the bed next to me," "I'm going to take Kristin to go get ice cream!"

Carlos and Cameron went to a BBQ yesterday for a little bit and Carlos asked him if he wanted to stay longer and he told me that Cameron said, "Kristin might be lonely so we should go back home and spend time with her."

Sweet Huh?

I'm really enjoying spending time with Carlos and Cameron and I'm glad that his son actually likes me. Carlos is really happy about this situation and I can tell that he cares about me even more now.

So we all played Mario Kart and I of course won!! But....Cameron did really well. He beat me twice! I'm really impressed with him cause he uses the wheel and he challenges me. He knows a lot of the short cuts in the game and he has agreed to show me some of them the next time we play. He is a really sweet boy and I'm glad that he likes me. Carlos told me that he only met one other girl friend and he didn't like her!!

I'm a really happy girl right now! This is going to be a great month!

My Favorite Video Games

I've always been into video games! Ever since the original Nintendo came out! I was really young when Nintendo came out and I didn't play much at first because I thought that if I died in the game I would die in real life. Really stupid when I think back on that but hey...I was young.
I thought it would be fun to share what my favorite game to play was on each game system I have ever owned.

Nintendo: Bubble Bobble

I mostly played the Mario Brothers games and Duck Hunt but this was my favorite. My parents never bought us this game but we rented it every chance we got. My older brother, Danny, and I would play this game together. I think we beat it a couple of times. I have fond memories of playing this with my brother.

Nintendo 64: The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time

This is my favorite game ever! This game seemed long and very complicated to me. I would watch Danny play this game. I would even stay up past mid-night (which was late when I was a child) watching him play. I learned from his mistakes how to defeat the bosses and the tricks to get through the temples. I eventually got the courage to try my own game of it. I was wonderful. All that watching paid off. When I would beat the game I would start a new one right away. I was so good at this game that I didn't even need to use the cheats. My own memory was cheats enough. I knew how to unlock just about everything! This game was the bomb and the best Zelda EVER MADE!!!!

Play Station 2: Soul Calibur II

I played this game for the first time on Game Cube and fell in love with it. First time I ever played I chose Talim and was undefeatable. No one wanted to play me. I loved this game so much that Grant bought it for me on Play Station. I would play this game all day on my days off. I was really sad that they changed the characters moves on Soul Calibur 3 and 4. I was no longer able to play Talim which was devastating to me. I will always remember how good I was with her on the second game though.

XBOX: Jade Empire

This game rocks! I only played this game about 3 times but I loved it. I think everyone should try this game if they own a XBOX. You can decide whether you want to be good or bad and depending on that you learn fighting styles and magic. Throughout the game you meet people and can have conversations with them. The story changes depending on which characters you talk to the most. So the ending is almost always different. I'm a romantic so I always had my character talk to the hot guy. They ended up kissing at the end of the game and getting married. Pretty awesome if you ask me. I would love to play this game again someday. I loved it so much!

Nintendo Wii: Mario Kart

I have always been gifted in Mario Kart. I was amazing at the the 64 and Double Dash one but I'm the Queen at this one. I play so good with this game that I amaze myself. I almost always win and my friends are always impressed. My boyfriends son is visiting for a month and we are playing this game tonight. Supposedly he is really good but I think that I can take him. I'm excited to play with him and see just how good he is. I will tell everyone how that goes!
I love many more games such as Rock Band, Mario Party, Champions of Norrath and many more but these are my picks for each of the consoles that I have OWNED!!

If I were Fictional

If I were to be a fictional character I would look like this!
I saw this picture while looking for other things and I fell in love with it.
I think she is beautiful and I would love to look like this!
As a young girl I used to imagine that I was a princess and that I was the most beautiful woman in the whole wide world!
This picture shows exactly what I thought myself to look like as the most beautiful woman ever!
What would you look like if you were fictional?

Wuzzles

Did you ever watch this show? Whenever I talk to people my age about shows we watched when we were little kids I always mention this one. No one has ever heard of it. I was beginning to think that I made it up but then I googled it and turns out it really did exist. If you never watched the Wuzzles then you really missed out!
This show was awesome!
Each character was made up of two different animals. I can't remember all of them but I remember:
Bumblelion
Butterbear and
Eleroo
(I don't know if I spelled their names right)
I would love to watch this show again!

His Little Elf

I was always teased as a child for being small. I have really big ears for my size and they happen to stick out like an elf. Not only do they stick out but one of my ears actually has a point on it. Children in school used to call me an elf. As a child I only thought of Santa's little helpers when I was teased. I grew to kinda have a complex. I try to hide my ears as much as possible with my hair. But when I do pull my hair back people always see my ears and comment on them.
Ever since The Lord of the Rings movies came out I saw a whole new meaning of elf. In Middle Earth the elf is described as the fairest of beings. They are tall and thin and very beautiful. I don't mind being called an elf anymore. I embrace it. I'm pretty much Tolkien's dream girl. I may not be tall but I'm thin and fair and very dainty.
In a previous post I mentioned that I like E.L.Fudge cookies. I asked Carlos to buy me some more and he did. When he came home with my cookies he handed them to me and said, "Here are some elf cookies for my little elf!"
I thought that was sweet and I decided to blog about it.
Here are some pictures of my new vision of Elf!
So the next time someone calls me and elf...I am going to visualize myself as one of these..... These next two elves would be so much prettier if they were blonde! I'm going to pretend that they are!
So there you have it! I will be one of these the next time someone wants to be negative about my ears!
So just picture me with really long hair and my ears poking out from my hair and you have an elf! I could use a really cute elven outfit and a forest behind me too!

SHOPKO SUCKS

I will never shop at this store again!

I bought a Paramore CD there today and I was all excited cause I've been wanting this CD for a really long time.

I noticed that they had 2 different copies of the same CD except one was live and the other wasn't. The one that was live had a DVD and CD and it was only a dollar more than the other one. I was thinking that the live part was on the DVD. I thought this was a great deal getting the CD and a live DVD for only a dollar more. So I bought the dang thing.

When I got out to my car and popped the CD in I realized that not only was the DVD live but the CD was live too. I usually don't like live concerts cause the band never sounds the same and they usually are flat and sharp a lot. Paramore is no exception! The live CD sounds horrible. I love this band but I did not enjoy my purchase. So I decided to go back into ShopKo and exchange the CD for the other one.

When I got to the service center the lady had to call her supervisor since I had already opened the CD. The supervisor came and told me that I couldn't return the CD unless I exchanged it for the same exact thing. I told her that I didn't realize the CD was live and I wasn't happy with my purchase. She still wouldn't take it back. I complained and said I was buying the same CD just not the live version. She pointed at the Return and Exchange board behind her and told me that was the policy. Screw their policy. At Macy's we return ANYTHING!!!

ShopKo Sucks!!!

So when I got home I scooped the cat's litter box and put her poops in the ShopKo sack and chucked it in the dumpster!!

That's What You Get
(that happens to be the title of a Paramore song)

At least the DVD is enjoyable and I'm getting something for my money!

ShopKo is definitely not my life, my style, OR my store.

Shows I Watched After School

I was thinking of some of the shows I watched when I got home from school as a teenager and I thought I would share what some of them were.

The Nanny

My older brother got me into this show and I've been addicted ever since. I love everything about this show except maybe Fran's voice. But who notices that when you are having a good laugh? I love the story line and all the characters! This show is the best! I currently own the first 3 seasons which is amazing since they are impossible to find!

Doug

I absolutely love Doug! Even though some of the people are green and purple this show always taught a valuable lesson. I love everything about this show. I wish they still played it.

Reboot

This show was so creative!!! I love the characters and the awesome world they live it.

Sailor Moon

The only anime that I absolutely love! I would actually love to get all the season for this show but I'm afraid my boy friend would make fun of me.

Ooh-La-La Tuxedo Max....

Rugrats

This show was so cute! I just loved the adventures these babies went on with their imaginations!

What were some of the shows you watched?
